Section 120(1) states that notice in the prescribed form of the situation of the registered office, the days and the hours during which the office is open and accessible to the public, and any changes shall be lodged with the Registrar within one month after the date of incorporation.
However, no notice is required of the days and hours during which the office is open and accessible to the public if the office is open for at least five hours during ordinary business hours each day. Saturdays and public holidays excepted.
If a company does not comply with this Act, the company and every officer of the company who is in default shall be guilty of an offence against this Act.
The default penalty is RM1,000.
