Resolutions of directors after a share buy-back
Section 67A(3A) of the Act provides that where a company has purchased its own shares, the directors of the company may resolve –
(a) to cancel the shares so purchased;
(b) to retain the shares so purchased in treasury (in this Act referred to as “treasury shares”); or
(c) to retain part of the shares so purchased as treasury shares and cancel the remainder.
